If you have not tried any of the brands of 100% PVC plastic playing cards for you home game, you may not realize what you are missing out on. Many manufacturers claim these cards will outlast standard plastic coated paper playing cards up to 100 times. While we are a little more conservative when we estimate the lenght of use, there is no doubt that they significantly outlast the top paper playing cards like Bicylce and Bee. They outlast them so well that the $15 to $30 price tag per 2 deck set is well worth the money.
The 100% plastic cards are not only washable, but they simply do not get that sticky and grimy feeling nearly as quick as traditional playing cards. When they do begin to feel a little dirty, you can simply clean them with a damp cloth or sponge. Then take the time to dry them and you are ready to go. They are like new. These plastic decks also resist memory bends and bent corners much better than paper decks. Many say they shuffle way better also.
