Poker Chip Sets
Since the inception of poker chips many aspects about them have changed. For instance, over the years poker chips have changed in terms of materials they are made from, weight, designs, and colors. Unlike the 1000 capacity sets, the choice for cases varies greatly. Generally the case options are wood (usually oak or mahogany), aluminum, and vinyl. These sets are very affordable and can be easily moved about.
Poker chip sets are also available in 750, 650, 400, and 300 capacities. Similar to the 500 capacity sets, the consumer gets to select the case preferred and the combination of chips preferred. For example, a person may choose different amounts of each color or all one color. Stated exactly, if a 750 capacity set is chosen the consumer would select up to 750 chips. This allows for great versatility and gives the customer the ability to select exactly what he needs.
There are also sets available with as few as 200 and 100 poker chips included. These sets are ideal for gift giving. They are also perfect for someone who is not sure whether or not they want to get serious about playing card games. Additionally, these smaller sets are just right for traveling. The smaller economy poker chip sets include chips, cards, and are contained in a case approximately 9” x 7”. This small case can easily be taken along anywhere. Regardless of how many chips or what case preference someone has, today with all of the wonderful options it will not be hard to find exactly what is desired.
