Most people, including myself occasionally, simply grab the first deck they find at their local convenience store. While paper cards themselves aren’t bad, they tend to wear easily after a few hands. Some players would prefer to use plastic playing cards as opposed to paper. While they are more durable then paper cards, the environment becomes an issue with some players. There are other players who will simply not deal with plastic, and will choose paper every time. Some decks of paper cards are even made from recycled paper and are more eco-friendly.
