Many political experts believe that the best time for legislation to be passed that would legalize online gambling by March of 2012, before all the politicians get swept up in the upcoming presidential election. If it is not done before then, it will likely be pushed back until later in 2013. Members of congress are seriously considering the implications of legalizing online gambling. Proponents of online gambling argue that it will be a great source of revenue for state and federal government. In my opinion, this seems like prohibition in the 20’s. If people really want to do it then they are going to find a way. Outlawing something on a “moral” basis just doesn’t make sense.
