2011 November Nine
Tonight is the showdown for the final 3 poker players that made it out of the November Nine. Pius Heinz is the current chip leader with 107,800,000 poker chips, Ben Lamb follows after with 55,400,000 and the Martin Staszko is last with 42,700,000. Who will win? No one knows but it will be a great match so tune in at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT live on ESPN.
Maybe next year you can be at the Final Table of the World Series of Poker competing against all the poker pros. If that’s your dream then you definitely need to practice your poker game and get all the poker supplies you need. One necessity you will need without a doubt is some high quality playing cards. I suggest plastic playing cards just because they will last longer but you should use whatever you are comfortable with. If you are looking to use plastic cards then Copag and KEM make fantastic 100% plastic cards that you can use for many games of poker, and both brands have been used in the WSOP in years before.
Also you will need some poker chips, casino poker chips usually weigh around 9 to 10 grams but nowadays poker chips come in a variety of weights. Some our made out of clay and have a heavier feel or composite resin with a metal insert it’s really all about what you feel more at ease with using. But you should try practicing with poker chips that are regulation casino weight just so you can get a feel of what it’s like.
You will also need some sort of table to play. You can either get a poker table, table top, or even a felt layout would work. Just so you can really feel like you are playing at a WSOP competition. If you do not want to spend a lot of money a table top is the way to go its economical and easy to move.
Lastly you will need tons of competition. Get all your friends together and have poker nights. You will need all the practice you can get! This year over 6,800 players showed up to play that’s a lot of people to beat out to make it to the Final Table. But if you can’t get any friends over to play you can always get an electronic portable video poker player so you can play whenever you want. Who knows maybe you will win the World Series of Poker next year.
