Upgrade from Paper to Plastic Playing Cards

I have recently decided paper playing cards just are cutting it for me anymore. The plastic coating rubs off or the cards just tear and bend after several games of poker. It was really putting a damper on my poker nights when we had to end the game because the paper playing cards couldn’t keep up with us. Then someone suggested that I give plastic playing cards a try and now I won’t go back to paper playing cards. At first I was a little caught off guard by the cost but then I realized I was saving money because plastic playing cards will last for years with proper care. There are many brands of plastic playing cards that you can look into like Kem, Copag, Modiano and many more. You won’t have any trouble find a deck of plastic playing cards that suits you.

Casino Quality Poker Chips

When it comes to my poker supplies, I tend to buy replacements and upgrades quite often. There are just so many different options when it comes to cards, poker chips, poker chip cases and anything poker related really. Recently it was time for me to change out my poker chips. My last set was a clay composite poker chip. I liked them alright but always wanted to own some full clay poker chips, like the ones you find in the casino. I decided it was time to splurge on my poker chips, so I went with some Paulson Tophat full clay poker chips. They are quite pricey, but I’ve always wanted some. I have to say, they definitely live up to their name and price. These poker chips emulate casino poker chips. They feel and sound like the real thing. These are some of the best poker chips on the market and I couldn’t be happier. Clay poker chips are the way to go.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Tags: — admin @ 3:05 pm

If you are going through decks of cards way to fast you should upgrade from paper to plastic playing cards. I know I had trouble keeping paper cards for more than a couple games and it is just unreasonable to go out and buy new decks of paper cards all the time. Then I made the switch to plastic cards and I am never going back they last way longer and in the long run you are saving money, they may seem more expensive at the time but if you play cards all the time then you know how costly paper cards can get. There are many different brands of plastic playing cards some of the best known and respected are Kem, Copag, and Da Vinci.

Felt Layout Options

If you are lacking space in your home or you just don’t see the point in paying large sums of money for a poker table then you should look into felt layouts. There are tons of them for all kinds of different casino games not just poker. They are also relatively inexpensive and usually pretty small so you can just place them on your table or another idea is to staple it to a piece of plywood then you have pretty much made your own table. If that is a little to simple for you, you can always make your own table then place your felt layout on it. Just because you can’t afford a fancy poker chip table doesn’t mean you can’t have one.

Support For Online Poker Growing Stronger

Filed under: Poker Gaming — Tags: — admin @ 3:55 pm

The call to legalize online gambling and online poker is getting larger and larger. Many political experts believe that the best time for legislation to be passed that would legalize online gambling by March of 2012, before all the politicians get swept up in the upcoming presidential election. If it is not done before then, it will likely be pushed back until later in 2013. Members of congress are seriously considering the implications of legalizing online gambling. Proponents of online gambling argue that it will be a great source of revenue for state and federal government. In my opinion, this seems like prohibition in the 20’s. If people really want to do it then they are going to find a way. Outlawing something on a “moral” basis just doesn’t make sense.

Blackjack: Fun for Anyone

Out of all the card games out there, Blackjack is by far one of the most popular, if not the most popular. I think that one of the main reasons for this is due to ease of play and the overall enjoyment and fun it brings. Adding to the popularity is the seemingly increased odds of winning. When playing against a dealer, your chances of beating the house are greater than that of other casino card games. Also, blackjack can be played almost anywhere, all you need is a deck of cards and you are set to go. There are even blackjack table tops that you can buy to make your playing experience at home that much more enjoyable and convenient, you can trasform your generic kitchen table into a casino style felt playin surface. Blackjack is by one of my favorite games, try to work it into your next family game night.
